About this coffee
Fazenda Nossa Senhora de Fátima lies in Vargem Bonita, in the Serra da Canastra region of Minas Gerais, close to the Serra da Canastra National Park. The coffee grows at 1.100 to 1.200 meters, in a microclimate that supports a complex, balanced cup.
The farm is run by the Garcia Albuquerque family: Wlademir, Vera, Wanderlei and Vera Lúcia. They honour its founder, Basílio Garcia Montes, with careful cultivation and processing.
What it tastes like
Dark chocolate and caramelized brown sugar, with roasted almond in the background and a light red apple note that adds some freshness.
How to brew it
The chocolate and brown sugar sweetness works well as espresso and with milk. It also makes a round, easygoing cup on filter or in a French press.
