About the coffee you brew with this aid: it has an exceptionally dense, full body. This is because you use metal filters instead of paper ones, resulting in fewer natural oils being retained. Additionally, you apply more pressure during the brewing process. While not as much as in espresso, it is certainly more than a regular AeroPress without the Prismo.
The brewing process resembles the "reverse method" which is often used with the AeroPress: the coffee doesn’t drip during brewing. This can be nice when following a recipe and ensures a more consistent end result. Advantage over the reverse method: the flipping is not mandatory. We know from experience that you won’t always need to clean after.

And if you like to brew using the reverse method, the Prismo is a definite recommendation: it’s just a bit easier, quicker, and less prone to mistakes.
