About this coffee
This coffee bean profframe introduces specialty coffee to you all at once: three different roasted coffees (3× 200 grams) freshly roasted in Amsterdam. From a strong espresso blend to a floral single origin. Here we present them all.
The Blend, espresso with pure chocolate and nuts
The Blend is our house blend for espresso and cappuccino: a blend of sweet Arabica beans from Colombia and robusta beans from Indonesia. The Colombian beans come from a hilly region and are hand-picked after washing and drying; farmers then sort them by quality and size. For both origins, we chose the same grind size (screen 17/18) to ensure a uniform roasting process. The Robusta adds extra bite and a beautiful crema. Expect a strong flavor with notes of pure chocolate and nuts. See The Blend
Brazil | Ellen Fontana, rich espresso with vanilla and red berries
This coffee comes from Fazenda Fronteiras in Socorro, São Paulo, the coffee farm of Ellen Fontana, the fifth generation coffee grower in her family. She farms her coffee between bananas, avocados, and eucalyptus: a healthy mix of crops that keeps the soil fertile. The result is a rich specialty coffee with chocolate, vanilla, and red berries. Ethiopia | Yirgacheffe, floral coffee for filter and espresso
These beans are cultivated by various small farmers from Yirgacheffe, the region that is considered the birthplace of coffee. After harvest, ripe cherries are washed with clean water and dry for two to four weeks on raised beds, turning daily. The result: a delicious floral aroma with rich berries and sweetness.
