About this coffee
In the Ethiopian Gogogu, coffee plants grow at altitudes up to 2,400 meters. Due to that extreme altitude and the shade of the surrounding vegetation, the fruits of the indigenous Kurume variety mature very slowly. Tesfaye Bekele processes this harvest together with small-scale farmers from the region using the washed method. This results in a layered Guji coffee with floral notes, fresh citrus, blueberry flavors, and a light, tea-like mouthfeel.
