About this coffee

For our newest coffee, we travel to the slopes of the active Turrialba volcano in Costa Rica, where the De Aquiares Coffee Community is located. This 'Estate' coffee is the largest in the country, with a strong community where around 1,800 people live. Under the leadership of Diego Robelo, the plantation combines social impact and climate neutrality with groundbreaking agricultural innovation, such as growing the rare F1 Esperanza variety. This natural coffee has full, fresh fruit flavors with a juicy mouthfeel and a candy-like finish.
