This is a special boon from Nyeri, originating from the Gura AA co-operative. Compared to Ethiopian beans, Kenyan beans are larger and grow at lower altitudes. They are also sorted by size and uniformity. The largest and most uniform beans are labeled as "AA".
The Gura AA is a beautiful example of beautiful-grown Kenyan coffee, but with a tropical twist. In the cup, you taste mango and red cherry, rounded off with a sweet hint of brown sugar. This combination provides a lively, fruity, and balanced tasting experience typical of top coffees from Nyeri.
